SC restores Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh, President’s rule voided

Nabam_tukiThe Supreme Court on Wednesday said that Congress Party continue to rule the Arunachal Pradesh and would go back to the status of December 15,2015 when the Congress was still in power. Arunachal Pradesh had been under President’s Rule since January 26, 2016.

With this historic judgment, the Nabam Tuki-led Congress government remain reinstated in Arunachal Pradesh, and the President’s Rule becomes null and void. It also means that Congress leader Kalikho Pul, who was sworn as the chief minister on February 20, will no longer hold the post.

On this, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has made a tweet and targets Modi Government:

This will be a huge and real shock to BJP Government when elections are going to come in 5 states, in next one year of period.
