But first up, when is Black Friday? Well, Black Friday doesn’t officially start until Friday 24th November in 2023.
However, this year retailers have kicked off their Black Friday sales earlier than ever before.
Popular mattress retailer Emma was one of the first brands to launch its Black Friday sale – at the end of October! – with up to 65% off its bestselling mattresses, closely followed by Black Friday sales at John Lewis & Partners, up to 40% off at Currys, and Black Friday sales at Argos and Very launching early November.
We estimate that at least 50% of big name retailers now have Black Friday sales up and running, and we expect more Black Friday sales to launch early this week – although some retailers are holding firm and waiting for Black Friday itself on November 24th to begin discounting.
Our ‘when is Black Friday‘ explainer has more detail on what discounts to expect and when.

Good morning. Black Friday week has officially begun, and there are bargains galore to be shopped!
I’m Amy, Ideal Home’s Ecommerce Editor, and I’ll be helping you to track down the discounts that are worth spending your money on this morning. I put all manner of products through their paces as part of my job – from the best mattresses for getting a good night’s sleep to the best dehumidifiers for combatting damp this winter – so I’m perfectly placed to help you figure out which deals are worth shopping today and which are not.
I’ll also be rounding up some of my favourite retailers that currently have early Black Friday sales live online and in store. Watch this space!
Well that’s just about it from me tonight, thanks for being here and checking out the latest deals along with me. If that wasn’t enough for you, never fear, as one of my colleagues will be back in the morning to see what the retailers have to offer to brighten up our Mondays.
In the meantime, you can always keep an eye in things using our Black Friday home deals page which has a range of offers on air fryers, vacuums, dehumidifiers and more.
Happy shopping!

Neom Organics Wellbeing Pod Diffuser | was £95.00 now £76.00 at John Lewis & Partners
I am very, very tempted to pick this up for myself as I think it would be the perfect accompaniment to a cosy Sunday evening in.
They’re definitely some of the best looking diffusers on the market and they have the reviews to back them up, too.
Another option is the mini version, which comes in both a chic black and a soft pink (they call it ‘neutral’ but, trust me, it’s a pale baby pink in real life), which is currently discounted to £44.00 at John Lewis.

Prestige Eco Non-Stick 5 Piece Saucepan Set | was £114.06 now £80.99 at Amazon
If you have an induction hob then you’ll, like me, know the pain of having bought and returned more pans than you’d like when you discover they don’t work on your oven. However, not only will these work on your hob, but we even names them one of the best sets of induction compatible pans around.
They’re dishwasher, non-stick and lightweight, but they also have impressive eco-credentials to shout about. The set is actually made of recycled aluminium and the non-stick itself is plant-based. So these would also be an amazing gift for the vegan cooks in your life.
Smeg BLF01WHUK Blender | was £180.00 now £120.00 at Argos
For one of the most stylish blenders on the market you have to look at the 50s aesthetics of Smeg. This device, which currently has a juicy 1/3 off, has three settings to allow you to ice crush, smoothie make and pulse.
It’s also suitable for hot liquids, so now that soup season is in full swing, you can pour your pot directly in to blend to the perfect consistently without having to factor in cooling time.
Rockville Wall Light | was £65.00 now £42.25 at Cox & Cox
I love lighting from Cox & Cox and was really impressed by this adjustable wall light. It’s got the perfect level of industrial cool without feeling cold, thanks to the addition of the warm wooden panel.
It’d be ideal in a home office so you can free up more desk space, or pick up a pair to use as reading lights places above bedside tables.
Simba Hybrid Foam Mattress Topper | was from £229.00 now from £148.85 at Amazon
I’m a big believer in how the right mattress topper can be just as good as a new mattress. And if, for whatever reason, you can’t buy a new mattress (hello, fellow renters!) toppers are definitely for you, we named this Simba option best of the best in our reviews.
The Simba topper is essentially a thinner four-layer version of its bestselling mattress, which results in one of the most robust and supportive toppers we’ve tested and makes this topper the most capable of overhauling your sleep set-up without a full mattress replacement.
Which mattress should you buy?
On the topic of bedding, the mattress if arguably the most important element to consider and since you’ll be using it a lot it’s important to get the right one.
Our mattress expert, Amy Lockwood, explains about how to choose the best mattress for you and to break down some of the jargon in the area.
For specific queries, take a look at our breakdown at comparing hybrid and memory foam mattresses which is ideal if you’re stuck in between the two (metaphorically, I hope!). If aches and pains are your issue, then we’ve also listed the best mattress for back pain which will be right up your street.

Silentnight Weighted Blanket | was from £70.00 now from £45.15 at Amazon
Weighted blankets are having something of a moment right now, being purported to help ease anxiety and stress.
In our recent roundup of the best weighted blankets, this Silentnight option made the top list, and was decided to be the softest, warmest and cosiest of the bunch.

Pre Lit Oversized Frosted Berry and Pinecone Christmas Wreath | was £99.99 now £69.99 at Lights4Fun
I love a good wreath, and this is a great deal from a good quality brand. At 66cm with 50 warm white LEDs, you get a lot of size and sparkle for your buck.
This would of course be a beautiful addition to a door, but you can also place it on a table and use it as a lit centrepiece . So, in my ever-wise girl maths, that means you’re getting a two in one deal. Big win.
Where’s the cheapest place to buy a Ninja air fryer?
While the previous air fryer can only be found at Amazon, when it comes to other models from the brand you may have to look in other places to find the best bargain.
Our resident air fryer expert and reviewer, Molly Cleary, keeps a weather eye on where to find rge top name air fryers at the best prices around on this handy page.
Of course, it’s all to play for over Black Friday, so we’ll be adding the best deals around right here and on our dedicated air fryer deals page.
Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer MAX | was £269.99 now £179.99 at Amazon
On that note, there’s no better place to start than with one of the top rated (and best looking) air fryers around. This design is exclusive to Amazon, so you can’t get it anywhere else.
It’s a 6-in-1 machine with a generous 9.5L capacity which is roughly equivalent to 8 servings.
I gave you the full run down on the product here, but I’m delighted to say that since the last time I updated that piece it’s now discounted by 35%.
Good evening everyone, hope you’ve been having gorgeously cosy Sundays all round. In case you didn’t see me pop up on here yesterday and Friday – hello! I’m Thea, Ideal Home‘s Assistant Editor.
I’ve been working in interiors for about a decade so I have a lot of experience when it comes to finding beautiful items to make people’s lives easier and more stylish without hurting the budget.
With that in mind I’m ready to get deal-hunting. I made myself stay off the sales earlier so I’m back with a vengeance and eager to get going…
That’s my deal-hunting shift over for today. Now it’s my turn to shop instead – I’ve already bought the Kärcher window vac from Amazon this weekend, and there are definitely a few other offers I’m super tempted to snap up before they sell out.
I’m handing over the live blog baton to our awesome Assistant Editor Thea, who’s ready and waiting to be your personal shopper for the next three hours.
Wishing you a great Sunday evening!

MeacoDry 20L Arete® One Dehumidifier White | was £274.95, now £254.95 at Meaco
This is the star of the moment here at Ideal Home – it’s one of the most popular products with our readers right now and is the best overall product in our best dehumidifiers guide. While the £20 saving might not seem huge, discounts on the top dehumidifiers are rare and having tried this model out myself at home over the last couple of weeks, I can vouch it’s well worth the investment.
Our family bathroom walls drip with moisture after one of us has taken a shower, and mould was building up on the walls and ceilings. Since using the MeacoDry 20L Arete®, the walls are dry to the touch and I’m really hopeful that’ll mean no more future mould problems.
Read the full review for the complete lowdown of all the features this dehumidifier has to offer.
One of the things on my personal Black Friday shopping list this year is bedding, as my 14-year-old daughter wants a bedroom makeover for Christmas, and new bed linen is one of the quickest and easiest ways to change up the colour scheme.
When you’re on the hunt for where to buy bedding and Black Friday bedding deals here’s a quick list of my top five places with great early discounts:

Hybrid Bamboo Mattress | was £950, now £665 at Panda
This is the mattress I sleep on, and I gave it a well-deserved 4.5 stars when I reviewed it. I’m a hot sleeper, and the bamboo-infused foam is really breathable. In fact it scored so well, it’s the ‘best infused mattress’ in our best mattress guide.
I was also really impressed by its motion isolation (it has a pocket sprung core). I sleep next to a restless sleeper who’s always moving around in his sleep and I have definitely slept better since we swapped our old mattress for this one.
So if you’ve been waiting for the best Black Friday mattress deals to roll out before you invest in your dream mattress, this is the moment – there’s £285 off this mattress right now.

150cm Artificial Eucalyptus Tree | was £85, now £42.50 at La Redoute
La Redoute is somewhere I always recommend to friends looking for stylish homeware at reasonable prices (if you haven’t done so before, you have to check out their range of storage baskets – I own three of the Raga woven baskets because I love them so much).
My kids call me a crazy plant lady because I own so many houseplants, and for me, the bigger the better. But houseplants take a lot of care, and faux alternatives look so convincing that when I spotted this artificial eucalyptus tree (eucalyptus is one of my favourite plants and was a key element in my winter wedding bouquet) at 50% off I just had to share it. I’d recommend sitting it in the Keita Round Woven Seagrass Basket from La Redoute to add a stylish focal point to any room.
If you’re team ‘real only’ then our guide to the best indoor plants is for you. And yes, there are indeed some brilliant Black Friday deals to be had on Amazon’s houseplants!
I’m really proud that we have two certified Consumer Experts on the Ideal Home team, which means the buying advice on Ideal Home is of the highest quality it could possibly be.
Our Ecommerce Editors Molly Cleary and Amy Lockwood are both Consumer Experts in their specialist areas (Molly – vacuum cleaners and kitchen appliances such as air fryers; Amy – all things sleep-related including mattresses) having gained in-depth knowledge of these products.
What this means in reality is that Molly and Amy have got a wealth of hands-on, practical experience and know the bestselling products in their areas inside and out. They know exactly how to put these products through a rigorous testing process before being happy to recommend them to our readers.
In order to be certified as a Consumer Expert, Molly and Amy had to complete the 5-step process below:
1. Testing
Hands-on experience testing the bestselling and highest-rated products on the market. This is the benchmark against which other products are reviewed and judged.
2. Product research
Molly and Amy immerse themselves in each product category, making sure that they really do know the products intimately, with a full understanding of their pros and cons.
3. Behind the scenes
Our Consumer Experts work tirelessly to inform their insider knowledge on the products they test. Factory visits, showroom tours, and comparison testing days at our testing facility all play their part.
4. Industry knowledge
Molly and Amy immerse themselves in the industry, speaking experts such as product developers and retailers. They know the market leaders are always one step ahead of industry trends. They are non-biased and able to formulate an honest judgement about the USPs offered by different products on the market.
5. Wider opinions
To expand their own knowledge, our experts carefully research customer product reviews to gauge wider product satisfaction, and use the wider team to inform their understanding of the products’ performance.

Mesa | was £104.99, now £84.99 at Solo Stove
I’m very outdoorsy and love nothing more than an evening gathered around a fire pit with friends and family (especially if s’mores are involved). This tabletop fire pit is the perfect no-fuss way to create the glow – and I know that for a fact because I have one myself. We’ve used it to cook s’mores a few times over the summer (once at my son’s 14th birthday party), and as a family of campers we’ll definitely be taking this away with us when we head off on our next trip as its compact size (and handy travel bag) makes it super portable. I also reckon this is a really good Christmas gift for a garden lover or keen camper.
The Mesa is the little sister of the classic Bonfire 2.0 from Solo Stove, included in our best fire pits buying guide. This model has £45 off for Black Friday if you fancy going large!
Ideal Home Fraser 4 Seater Sofa | was £899, now £699 at ScS
How can I not shout about this brilliant sofa deal? The Fraser is the bestselling sofa in the Ideal Home range at ScS, and delivers a double whammy of style and comfort. I know, because I’ve had the pleasure of lounging on it at ScS’s flagship showroom.
Even if I am biased, I challenge you not to be impressed by a four-seater sofa this stylish for under £700! Mixing retro with modern, this contemporary sofa is also available in two-seater and three-seater. And the sale price applies to all six fabric colours so you’re spoilt for choice.
Normally I’m a hard and fast ‘no Christmas before December’ girl, but this year – maybe due to the washout summer and miserable weather recently – I can’t wait to bring on all the festive feels. When it comes to where to buy Christmas decorations, there are some stylist-approved favourite brands who have started their Black Friday sales early so you can pick up some great bargains.
So whether you’ve been waiting to pick up one of the best artificial Christmas trees in the sales, or you’re after Christmas light ideas, these are my top picks of the retailers you should check out now…
I’ve been a big fan of Lights4Fun for years (I have a garden full of their connectable festoon lights) . While these aren’t discounted for Black Friday (and believe me, I keep checking!), there are some gorgeous Christmas lighting products that are heavily discounted with up to 70% off some products including decorations and wreaths, and string lights.
John Lewis is a firm favourite for quality Christmas decs and there are Christmas lights and baubles included in the early Black Friday discounts right now, with 20% off selected products.
Another much-loved brand here at Ideal Home, check out Dunelm’s Black Friday Christmas deals. This traditional berry wreath caught my eye with 30% off, and the matching traditional berry garland would look very nice on my mantel!
Last but not least, we have high-street hero Habitat, with a fab selection of festive homeware on sale, covering everything Christmas trees and lights to Christmas bedding.
Bosch Advancedrotak 750 Rotary Noise Reduction Lawn Mower | was £269, now £110 at Homebase
Before I share some Christmas deals, did you know that it’s almost time to stop cutting your lawn for winter? It’s been a mild month so far, which means most experts generally recommend mowing the grass for the final time in the early weeks of November, before temperatures drop below five degrees and the grass starts growing more slowly.
If mowing your lawn has felt like a chore this year, maybe it’s time to invest in the best lawnmower? This Bosch model came top in our buying guide, with five out of five stars, and I’ve found it on sale at Homebase with a whopping £159 off – by far the cheapest I can find it anywhere online.
Good afternoon folks, I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday, whatever you’re up to today. I’m Heather, Ideal Home‘s Editor in Chief and I’m here for the next three hours to share those early Black Friday deals for your home that are too good to miss. I’ve worked for Ideal Home for over 15 years, so I know exactly where to head to when I’m looking for affordable and stylish furniture, accessories and time-saving gadgets. I’ve spent years getting to look around some of the UK’s most amazing homes, learning what it takes to create a space that looks good, and works hard, too.
I don’t like to mention the ‘C’ word too early, but I spent yesterday doing some Christmas prep as I’m determined to make it a less stressful build up to the big day this year. We’ve passed the start of the six week countdown to Christmas, and I’m aiming to save some money by picking up Christmas decorations and presents in the Black Friday sales. I’ve been scouring the best deals, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve found, along with some other insider secrets along the way…
That’s all from me today! I hope you’ve enjoyed perusing my favourite Black Friday finds. I’m now off to deliberate over my online baskets while I roast a chicken… Sunday shopping at its finest.
I’ll be back next week with plenty more Black Friday deals that I’ve found – until then, I’m passing over to our lovely Editor in Chief, Heather Young!

ercol for John Lewis Hazlemere Armchair | was £999, now £799.20 at John Lewis & Partners
We were very excited when John Lewis launched their collection with ercol. It’s a design classic and made in Britain, so being able to shop at a cult high street store was the ultimate collaboration.
If you’re a lover of mid-century design, then it’s a great chance to make the most of a £200 discount. You’ll have this chair for a lifetime, so if you have the budget to invest then it’s well worth it. Plus, it can be delivered before Christmas. Get ready to snuggle up with a box of Quality Street and a Christmas film of your choice (it better be Love Actually).
Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with CORNER GENIE™ | was £449, now £349 at Hoover
I’m in the process of testing out this Hoover cordless vacuum for the Ideal Home best cordless vacuum guide, and let me be the first to tell you – I’m seriously impressed.
I’ve had a bad run of vacuums that get clogged up with hair and inevitably stop performing well, but this is a game-changer. It has the power of a corded vacuum cleaner with the convenience of a cordless model, and with the push of one button, it transforms into a handheld vac too. The handheld function doesn’t require you to bend down, and has a patented Corner Genie function that bends itself into crevices and along skirting boards.
It also helps that it’s pink and has £100 off for Black Friday. If I didn’t already own it, I’d be buying it.
ProCook Professional Stainless Steel Cookware Set | was £249, now £189 at ProCook
Black Friday is the best time to grab some money off on a big-ticket item, like a whole new set of pans. I’ve never owned a full matching set, so these stainless steel pans are on my radar. True adulthood is putting kitchenware at the top of your Christmas list, no?
I’ve long lusted after my parent’s stainless steel Le Creuset set, and this ProCook option gives me the exact same look, plus more pans, for over £350 less.
Habitat 7ft Pre lit Upswept Mixed Tip Christmas Tree | was £140, now £93.33 at Argos
The six-week Christmas countdown has officially begun, so it’s time to start shopping and decorating for the festive season. If you’re not a fan of real trees (maybe you have an allergy or a pet), then the best artificial Christmas trees are where you’ll want to look.
This 7ft pre-lit artificial tree from Habitat looks very similar to this £699 Balsam Hill tree, but with the Black Friday discount, this comes in at under £100. It will last you for years to come and looks much more luxe than the price suggests – plus, it won’t eat into your Christmas shopping budget too much.
Tilly Floor Lamp | was £179.00, now £143.20 at M&S
I waxed lyrical about the Bobbin trend and ever since, I’ve been obsessed with finding lamps, candlesticks and photo frames that embrace the antique-inspired look.
The Tilly floor lamp has been all over my Instagram feed, and Bobbin doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere (it’s been around for centuries, after all), so Black Friday is the best time to hit buy. I’m looking to update my living room floor lamp from a £10 Facebook Marketplace find, and this definitely makes the cut.
Lumie Bodyclock Spark 100 Wake up to Daylight Table Lamp | was £99 now £79.20 at John Lewis
The Lumie Bodyclock Spark 100 is a tried and tested personal recommendation – I quite literally use this every single day.
It was top of my Christmas list last year, and I don’t know how I ever lived without it. It’s safe to say I’m not a morning person but this lamp and alarm clock has made waking up so much kinder – I’ve even started to make pre-work spin classes a regular habit!
It works by gradually turning on a light for 30 minutes before your alarm goes off, so by the time you wake, you’re accustomed to a softly lit room. It’s easy to tap to snooze (guilty) and you can even wind down gradually to a sunset light setting.
The older model got the Ideal Home seal of approval as the best sunrise alarm clock, so with even more features, it’s well worth snapping up for yourself, or as a gift.

Happy Sunday, everyone!
I’m Holly Cockburn, Content Editor at Ideal Home. I’m the resident kitchen expert having spent years writing about everything from cupboards to cornices at Howdens, and I now scout out the top trends and must-have products for your home.
Other than kitchens, I’m a homeware fanatic. Not many people get to say part of their job is online shopping, so it’s only right that I share with you all of the pretty home furnishings (and Christmas decorations, of course) that I come across. I’m also a girl with expensive taste and a small budget, so rest assured most of my finds will be high-end looking with a low-end price tag!
If like me, you’re suffering from not getting Glastonbury tickets this morning, you might be looking to drown your sorrows in the form of Black Friday shopping. So let’s begin!
So, that’s me signing off for now. I’ll be back on Thursday and Friday for the big Black Friday push and I promise to come armed with all the hottest deals out there to help you tackle your Christmas list. I hope I’ve helped you save some money with the offers I’ve shared so far – stay tuned though – there are plenty more to come…
I’m now handing over to our brilliant Content Ed Holly Cockburn to guide you through Sunday’s best offers. Thanks for following and happy shopping!

Cookware set | was £490, now £289 at Our Place
Here’s another one that I can wholeheartedly recommend. While I don’t own the entire cookware set, I do own an Always Pan and a Perfect Pot, and they are easily my most used cookware at home. They’re available in a whole host of colours (mine are in Sage green) and this set will cover all your cooking needs.
If your budget won’t stretch to the entire set you can still get 45% off the Always Pan and 41% off the Perfect Pot this week for Black Friday.
Stratos Deluxe Black Cordless Vacuum| was £429.99, now £249.99 at Shark
This vacuum cleaner is why I personally favour Shark over Dyson. I have a Stratos vacuum at home – it’s compact, so easy to use and powers through pretty much everything in a flash.
Don’t just take my word for it – our review gave it a perfect score of five out of five stars. It’s currently discounted by a hefty £200 on the Shark website so now the perfect time to snap one up.
Black Friday week is most definitely the best time of year to be investing in a new vacuum cleaner. The discounts available now can stretch into several hundred pounds, meaning you’ll have a brand new vacuum in time for Christmas, as well as a few extra quid in your pocket that you would have otherwise lost out on if you bought it at another time of year.
Personally, when it comes to the big name brands, I rate Shark over Dyson. They’re cheaper, and in my opinion, they last longer (I have owned vacuum cleaners from both brands).
However, I urge you to read our comparison article about Shark vs Dyson vacuums so you can read all about the differences and ultimately make up your own mind.

Le Creuset Provencale Cast Iron 26cm Casserole | was £279 now £167.40 at John Lewis & Partners
If you’re not getting married and receiving one as a gift, the only sane time of year to be buying a Le Creuset casserole dish is during the sales. And if there was ever another reason to love John Lewis more, it’s now, thanks to its whopping 40% discount on a selected number of Le Creuset pots.
This classic casserole is slightly shallower than the traditional version so it’s ideal for everyday use. And if you don’t fancy the standard Volcanic Red colourway, it also comes in a Deep Teal or Satin Black shades.
Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac | was £74.99, now £44.99 at Amazon
Here’s one I have genuinely invested in this year. Ever since I found out that a window vac is the very best way to remove condensation from windows, I have been meaning to buy one. And with Amazon’s 40% discount for Black Friday, I couldn’t really put it off any longer and one of these vacs is currently winging it’s way to me as I type!
Sure, there’s a more basic model available, but this version has a longer battery time (35 mins) and comes with a handy spray bottle with microfibre cloth and a free sachet of concentrated glass cleaning solution to keep my windows sparkling.
Alexa 1.5 Litre Smart Kettle | was £99.99, now £59.99 at Swan
The perfect gift for anyone who loves a cuppa, this Swan kettle will not only look good on any countertop, but because it has built-in voice control with Alexa, you can literally ask it to boil some water, wherever you are in your home.
It also features a rapid boil element and will top up drinks with its auto two-hour keep warm function. And the best bit? It’s almost half price at Swan now for Black Friday.
(Image credit: John Lewis & Partners)
Sage Smart Oven Air Fryer | was £329.95, now £259.95 at John Lewis & Partners
We’re already fans of Sage’s kitchen appliances, they’re well designed, sturdy and built to last. And say no more about air fryers – they’re a must for any modern kitchen.
But when we spotted this nifty model in Stanley Tucci’s kitchen, our Ecommerce Editor Molly Cleary simply had to test it out and her review proved that this beauty was a winner, hands down. It toasts, bakes, roasts, grills, air fries, reheats and slow cooks – a brilliant multitasking kitchen hero.
It’s now available at John Lewis with a whopping £70 discount for Black Friday, so there’s no excuse not to snap it up…
How to get a great Black Friday deal
While many brands have already started their Black Friday sales in advance of the big day next week, these prices are sure to fluctuate and you may end up caught in the excitement of seeing a great deal and end up buying something that you may not need (I speak from experience…)
However, having experienced Black Friday for many years – both for work and personally – here’s a little advice on what to do so you don’t get trigger happy with the ‘buy’ button on the big day.
Make a list of what you really need Don’t be temped to buy just because something is there. We’re all short of cash this year so make your pennies count. here are some serious bargains out there so make a list of the things that you really need at home of the gifts you know you want to buy.
Do your research Be specific with your shopping list. Try and do some prep work and read reviews for specific models or items (we have reviewed loads of products in our What to Buy section). Make sure the item you’re looking to purchase does and has everything you need. Also, try and find out the original RRP so you can see if the deal you eventually find is a good one.
If in doubt, check Amazon Truth be told, if the product you’re looking for is sold on Amazon, it will most likely have the best deal going, though this price will fluctuate in the run up to Black Friday. Check out the Amazon’s WOW! deals page for limited offers (available for up to 8 hours or until they sell out) for the very best discounts.

Pro Breeze 12L/Day Dehumidifier | was £189.99, now £127.49 at Amazon
Another gem of a deal at Amazon is this ProBreeze dehumidifier. As our our review explains, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a bigger (NOTE: more expensive) machine but it’s a great basic model.
Plus, now that it has 33% off the RRP, it won’t sting so much to fork out on something so practical in the run up to Christmas!
Ninja Woodfire Electric 7-in-1 Outdoor Grill & Air Fryer | was £399.99, now £235 at Amazon
First up, I’ve spied the brilliant Ninja Woodfire electric grill at Amazon with a whopping 41% off the RRP. It’s also discounted on the Ninja website but the Amazon offer is marginally cheaper, saving you a further £14.99.
While I have a Ninja Foodi Max Pro Grill and it’s a huge help in my kitchen, I’ve never tested the Woodfire but all the reviews – including our Ninja Woodfire Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker review – guarantee it’s a brilliant buy.

Good morning everyone!
Ginevra Benedetti here, Deputy Editor of Ideal Home magazine.
While I’m not commissioning and writing for the magazine, I also write and review products for our website, so I’m definitely well placed to recommend the best products at the best prices. In fact, I have already researched the items I’m going to buy in the Black Friday sales so I can get the bulk of my Christmas shopping done before December.
I spend most of my working time ‘shopping’; looking at the best trends, the best homeware and the best shopping deals to find the best quality products to feature in the magazine. So over the next three hours, I’ll be digging out a whole host of advance offers available now before the big day – Black Friday – next week.
So if you’ve got an idea of what you want to buy, or you’re still sort of undecided – keep an eye on this page for my regular updates over the next three hours to help you choose… and happy shopping!
That’s all from me and the rest of the Ideal Home Team today. We’ll be back bright and early tomorrow morning with more of the best Black Friday deals that have already gone live. See you then!

Miele Complete C3 Cat & Dog vacuum | was £389.00, now £299.00 at John Lewis
Our favourite vacuum for dealing with pet hair is now £90 off at John Lewis. Our pet-owning reviewer rated it as a reliable cleaning must-have, with excellent suction power. I’ve already recommended this Black Friday deal to my friend who has been struggling to keep up with the fur her cats leave around her house.
Shark Detect Pro vs Shark Stratos – which should buy this Black Friday?
The Shark Detect Pro and Shark Stratos are two of Shark’s most popular vacuum cleaners and both nearly always have great deals on during Black Friday. However, which should you go for?
If you want a stylish option that offers impressive suction, in our review the Detect Pro certainly wins that battle. But if you want a larger bin volume and a longer running time, the Stratos will fit the bill. However, overall in our expert reviewers’ opinion, the new Detect Pro just sneaks past the Stratos due to its affordable RRP and incredible cleaning ability.

Habitat Roma velvet chair bed | was £255, now £204 at Argos
When friends ask me what sofa bed they should invest in for their homes I nearly always recommend this stylish and affordable Habitat Roma chair bed. A dead ringer for the popular Made.com Haru sofa bed, it is already a great price on a normal day, but in the Argos Black Friday sale, it has been reduced by 20%. Available in 5 stylish colours, this is perfect if you’re looking to squeeze in an extra bed for guests this Christmas.
Have you considered the ‘Green Friday’ approach? As Black Friday has gotten bigger and bigger, it can be easy to get swept up in impulse buying and overbuying things you don’t need. Green Friday was originally created as an antidote to this, encouraging people to think more carefully about how they shop the sales and where they shop.
In the last two years, this has been the approach I’ve taken when shopping for Black Friday Deals, instead of purchasing lots of low-cost items I save up to invest in a couple of well-made pieces. Since Black Friday often sees sitewide discounts this is usually the best time to pick up items that don’t usually go into an end-of-season sale.
I’ve actually found I’ve saved far more in the long run by resorting to this tactic and using buys that have a place in my home for years to come.

I currently have the Ninja Dual Zone air fryer and can voucher that the Ninja air fryers really are worth the hype. Christmas collection | Save 25% at Habitat
It’s not strictly a Black Friday deal, but this 25% discount on Habitat’s new Christmas collection really is something to shout about. On my last visit to Sainsbury’s, I snapped up one of the Fir Balsam Cinnamon inclusion candles, which smells a lot like my favourite The White Company fir candle (but £30 less!) and these pretty mango wood stars. The only thing I’m kicking myself for not picking up is this mid-century Scandi-style Christmas tree trivet which is now only £6, which I am now 100% adding to my basket.
How to find a great Amazon Black Friday deal
Amazon has already kicked off its Black Friday sale, but unlike other Black Friday deals Amazon’s flexible pricing means you will need to be careful to ensure you actually score a bargain. After years of covering Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday here are the tricks that we use on the Ideal Home team to help us work out when something really is a bargain.
1. Ideally you should do a little prep work and keep an eye on the fluctuating Amazon prices over the month leading up. However, if you haven’t done this, a good way to check Amazon hasn’t inflated the price to drop it down again is to check around other retailers first.
2. You can set up alerts for upcoming WOW deals. These only last for about 8 hours and usually have some of the biggest discounts on them. All you need to do is click on the Wow deal page and select ‘Watch this deal’ below any product you’re interested in.
3. Don’t just look at what Amazon’s original RRP says, check sights such as Camel Camel Camel to see what the highest price it’s been listed on Amazon has been.

Woolroom Chatsworth Adjustable Wool Pillow | was £84.99, now £55.24 at Woolroom
Everyone should take sleep seriously, and I do, but sometimes my purse doesn’t allow me to invest in the best quality bedding. That is until Black Friday comes around! I’ve had these adjustable wool pillows on my wishlist for the last year.
Not only are they sustainable, but they’re made from wool which has temperature-regulating properties, which is ideal for me as a hot sleeper. If you need to prioritise one Black Friday deal this week, I’d highly recommend you spend it on improving your sleep, I know I will be.

If you are already subscribed to The White Company newsletter you will be able to get exclusive early access to the sale with 20% off everything!
The White Company White Weekend has become one of the best times of year to invest in one of their bestselling Christmas trees. This year it is the 7.5 ft Pre-Lit Grand Spruce tree that is selling fast according to The White Company. However, if like me you’re home isn’t quite big enough for a majestic spruce you can join me in buying the 4.5ft Pre-Lit Christmas Tree, which is reduced from £145 to £116, ready for December.

Silentnight Self Heating Double Mattress Topper | was £39.99 now £24.99 at Amazon
I tried this Silentnight self-heating mattress topper earlier this year and was honestly really impressed by the results, and will confidently rank it as one of the best mattress toppers I’ve slept on. I still use it to this day and it’s a game-changer for the winter months.
Consumer expert and presenter, Alice Beer, even vouched for the use of mattress toppers to keep yourself warm in bed – especially if you’re trying to avoid turning the heating on at night.

Beko ExpertFry Dual Zone Air Fryer | was £179.99 now £129 at Amazon
This is the air fryer I have in my London flat and I love it. Although owning a large dual-zone air fryer wasn’t originally in the picture for me, I’m so glad I have it now as it means myself and my flatmate can simultaneously cook our meals with no faff or fuss.
Its sleek touch controls and keep warm function are my favourite features (key things you should look for in an air fryer), but what finalised this appliance as a winner for me were the four dishwasher-safe air fryer accessories it came with. The air fryer shelf is easily my favourite, and I don’t know how I ever went without one prior.
Should you shop early Black Friday deals now or wait?
Black Friday is slowly becoming not just a singular day or weekend event, but rather a month-long affair during November. This can make it difficult to decide whether it’s worth hopping on deals now, or if you should hold out until the big day (which is just under a week away).
In short, it really depends on what you’re looking to pick up in this year’s sale. Most retailers’ deals are starting off pretty strong as they’re looking to compete with other retailers to offer shoppers the lowest prices early. However, there is also a chance that some are holding out until next Friday to reveal their best deals.
That’s why we grilled our in-house shopping experts, Amy and Molly, who are well-versed in many Black Fridays to better advise you on whether they think early Black Fridays are worth snapping up which you can read in detail here.

Ninja Foodi 7.6L Dual Zone Air Fryer (Certified Refurbished) | was £219.99 now £96.75 at eBay
This Ninja air fryer is easily one of the best dual-zone air fryers on the market, and this has got to be one of (if not the) best price we’ve ever seen for it.
If you’re wondering how on earth a popular model like this got so heavily discounted, it’s all thanks to eBay Certified Refurbished. Rest assured, this air fryer is not a ‘defect’ by any means but is a like-new and 100% functional appliance.
When you first visit the website, it will display the price as ‘£129’ however, eBay is offering a further 25% off Ninja’s top refurbished products until Cyber Monday (27th November) with the code BFNINJA25, bringing the price down to £96.75. Bargain!
Okay, allow me to let you in on a little secret we have here at Ideal Home: eBay’s Certified Refurbished programme, which guarantees savings of up to 50% on some of our favourite brands including Ninja, Dyson, Shark, and Smeg.
eBay Certified Refurbished products are ‘pristine, like-new products that have been refurbished by the manufacturer or manufacturer-approved vendor’, to restore them to full functionality but at a much lower price instead.
Interested in saving big on your next Black Friday purchase? You can read more about it on our eBay Certified Refurbished deals page, where you can browse some of our top picks.

Good afternoon, everyone! I’m Jullia, Ideal Home‘s Junior Writer. I focus a lot on new interior buys, trends, and hacks making the rounds on social media, so would say that I’ve got quite a keen eye on the latest you should know about.
I’ve recently just moved to London earlier this year after graduating from university and have been on a mission to decorate my flat to feel like a home, so I’ll be sharing with you my top buys and some things that have caught my eye – at prices not to be missed this Black Friday.
Well that’s me over and out, folks! I hope you’ve liked the pieces I’ve sourced for you and you’re able to find what you want at a bargain price.
I’m now off to do a bit of shopping for myself, and I’m going to start with upgrading my towels – the Supersoft Towel Bundle, reduced from £65.00 to £32.00 at DUSK is calling my name.
I leave you in the very capable hands of my colleague Jullia who’ll be tracking you down some great items for the next couple of hours.

Lumie Vitamin L Slim SAD Light | was £74.25 now £59.40 at John Lewis & Partners
In the winter months I swear by this product. It’s truly incredible just how bright this is without being glaring. It really feels like there’s sunlight in your room, even on the dullest and darkest of days! Plus, I really only need to switch it on for a matter of minutes to feel the difference.
This version is slim and lightweight, so easy to move around and you can position it landscape style, too.

Goose Feather & Down 10.5 Tog Duvet | was from £80.00 now from £48.00 at M&S

Weymouth Loveseat Sofa Bed | was £2,743 now £1,841 at Darlings of Chelsea
Ok, even with 35% off there’s no question that this is something of an investment, but after extensive testings we did crown it ‘Best loveseat chair bed‘.
It offers a classic look and scores big on comfort. Plus, it’s available in over 175 upholstery options, along with different piping variations and choice of 4 leg colours.
Does IKEA do Black Friday?
One brand that people always ask us about in relation to the big sales event is flat-pack heaven IKEA. While we have a whole explainer on their position here, the short answer is no, they don’t.
However, last year they instead created ‘Green Friday’ where customers could return used IKEA furniture to their closest location and get 50% off brand-new items, so there’s a possibility this might return for 2023.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for new furniture, we have collated the best Black Friday furniture deals to help you find what you’re looking for.

When is Black Friday?
With sales left, right and centre you may well feel confused about when the actual day itself is. Black Friday 2023 is on Friday, the 24th of November (aka next Friday).
But due to retailers launching earlier and earlier sales it’s becomes more like a Black November than a single day.
For all the questions and queries you have, we’ve put together a more detailed explainer for you.

ProCook Cast Iron Casserole | was £89.00 now £45.00 at ProCook
I have this casserole dish myself and, as a result, so do many of my friends and family. Genuinely just about everyone who sees me using it then ends up buying one, so that should tell you all you need to know!
It’s a 28cm, 3.9L shallow dish, so it can hold absolutely tonnes. It’s made of cast iron, but it’s surprisingly light, so you don’t feel like you’ve just been at the gym when you’re lifting it off the hob.
Afternoon everyone, excited to be back for another round of deal hunting with you all!
In case you weren’t around yesterday, I’m Thea, Assistant Editor for Ideal Home. I have over a decade of experience in the interiors world and have been lucky enough to try and test everything from bedding to vacuums so I’ve got a wide-ranging knowledge of everything homes and what’s actually worth spending money on.
On that note, I’m currently in the market for a kitchen rug and due to the shape of the space I’ve settled on a runner. This La Redoute Jute option caught my eye – especially as it’s currently reduced from £55 to £24.75. Bargain!
Thanks for following along this morning. I’m signing off now for the day and handing it over to my colleague Thea who will take you through the rest of the day’s sales!

Emma Luxe Cooling Mattress | was from £1,198.00, now from £419.30 at Emma
I’ve tried three Emma mattresses (the Original, Premium and Luxe Cooling) and this is the one that comes out on top for me.
While the Original and Premium both meant I slept a little too hot, the cooling tech in this new generation cooling version is the perfect cure. And it’s so comfy too.
My Emma Luxe Cooling mattress review has the full details if you want to learn more.

Shark Handheld Vacuum | was £129.99, now £105.91 at Amazon
One of the best handheld vacuums from our rankings is now on sale for Black Friday, and it looks the part too.
Our reviewer thought it was unbeatable when it comes to easy-emptying, with the contents of this vacuum disappearing at the touch of a button. All in all, it’s a great kitchen vacuum for cleaning up all those small messes.

Dreo 1500W Electric Heater | was £54.99 now £44.99 at Amazon
It is mightily chilly this morning as I update this blog, but luckily I’ve got my desk-side space heater on full force. If you’re also looking to pick up one of these WFH essentials, then I’d recommend this Dreo number.
It’s very similar to a Dreo model we have tested and rated highly, and I trust the brand thanks to testing a few of their great air fryers.

Ninja Foodi Possible Cookware Bundle – Sea Salt Grey | Was £259.98, now £159.99 at Ninja
Time for my final deal of the night and it’s something I own myself that I wholeheartedly recommend. When we renovated our kitchen earlier this year we installed an induction hob which mean we had to change all our cookware to the best pans for induction hobs. We bought this Possible cookware bundle from Ninja, and it looks as good today as when we got it 10 months ago.
It’s durable, scratch resistant and dishwasher safe and Ninja’s ZEROSTICK Technology makes it easy to wash. This bundle has over £100 off right now and includes a 3.8L pan with integrated steamer/strainer, spatula & glass lid and 6.6L cooking pot with integrated roasting/steaming rack, utensil & glass lid. The olive green set is even more of a bargain at £129.99 – that’s a huge 50% off. Definitely a brilliant Ninja Black Friday deal to check out.

Shark Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap | Was £379.99, now £299.99 at Amazon
Speaking of Shark vacuums, we rated this IZ300UKT cordless stick vacuum best overall Shark vacuum in our best Shark vacuums guide, so this is a great model. It’s sold out on the Shark website, but I’ve just spotted it with £80 off now at Amazon.
Our reviewer was impressed, saying: ‘It handled even tricky spots like the area next to the dog’s bed, and the corners of the kitchen tiles. This, the smart display, and powerful design, makes it one of the best vacuum cleaners I’ve used all year.’
With so many of the best vacuums heavily discounted for Black Friday, it can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to buy the right model for your home. Whether you’re weighing up Shark vs Dyson or Miele vs Dyson vacuums you’ve got a lot to think about.
That’s why the Ideal Home take testing vacuum cleaners so seriously. Every model we test gets put through its paces at our dedicated test facility and in the homes of our reviewers. We’re proud that our Ecommerce Editor Molly Cleary is a certified Consumer Expert on vacuums, earning that certification through her in-depth experience when it comes to testing, industry knowledge and intense product research.
That’s why, if you’re looking for the best Shark vacuum, or are on the hunt for Black Friday cordless vacuum deals, you can be confident you’re getting the best buying advice out there.

Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac | Was £74.99, now £44.99 at Amazon
I’m riding high on the dopamine hit of my first Black Friday purchase! This was something that was actually on my shopping list (I promise). It’s that time of year when we’re all trying to work out how to get rid of damp and condensation in our homes. I live in a Victorian house – half our windows are double-glazed but the other half are single-glazed sash windows and they get covered in condensation which causes mould to form.
I really wanted a window vac to be able to get rid of the moisture quickly and easily and with 40% off this top-rated model – it gets 4.6 stars and glowing customer reviews – I couldn’t resist adding it to my basket straight away. I’m hoping that, combined with one of the best dehumidifiers, it’ll help solve my damp problems for good.
Adoro Pizza Oven by Drew&Cole | was £179.99, now £149.99 at Amazon
My family and I tested this pizza oven multiple times over the summer, and it was an absolute smash hit, with my 14-year-old son declaring the wood-fired pizza we cooked in it ‘the best he’d ever tasted’ (and he’s sampled A LOT of pizzas, believe me!).
In my full review of the Adoro pizza oven I declared it great value for money at £179.99 (with pizza peel included), and I’ve just spotted you can save £30 on it right now on Amazon. At that price it’s really worth snapping up. It makes cooking delicious wood-fired pizzas at home a breeze (this was our first experience cooking in a pizza oven and it couldn’t have been easier), and I reckon you’ll soon see a return on the investment when you factor in what you’ll save by not splashing out on your regular takeaway pizza.
Hopefully you’re tucked up reading this on the sofa right now, but if you’re feeling a little chilly (and I definitely am, sat here at my desk!), then I suggest you hot foot it to check out the discounts galore on Lakeland’s heated blankets. Almost the whole range is in the Black Friday sale, with savings of up to £50 off many of the throws.
This wasn’t actually on my shopping list this year, but I’m seriously tempted right now, and I’m wondering if my husband and twins need one each too, ready for our next movie night on a miserable winter’s evening.
If you’re weighing up whether to treat yourself to one of the best electric blankets, it’s worth investigating how much it costs to run a heated blanket – one may come in handy when looking for ways to save energy at home.

Rene 3-Seater Fabric Sofa | was £1595, now £995 at Furniture Village
With great deals to be had at some of our all-time favourite high street stores, Black Friday is the perfect time to buy a big piece of furniture like a sofa. There’s up to 40% off at Furniture Village over Black Friday, and this super-smart deep blue Chesterfield sofa is our top pick. Our Ecommerce Editor (and in-house super sofa expert) Amy Lockwood says that it’s the ‘only Chesterfield I’ve sat on that’s actually comfy and the best price I’ve seen all year.’
If furniture is on your shopping list this year, we’ve rounded up all the Black Friday furniture deals to save you time finding the perfect piece.

Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer | was £249.99, now £179.99 at Amazon
My first pick of the evening is another Ninja bestseller. I’ve lost count of the number of people who’ve asked me about air fryer deals over the last few weeks in the build up to Black Friday, and I’ve told them that this Ninja model is a superstar in the world of air fryers. It scored five stars when our Ecommerce Editor Molly put it through its paces for a full review.
If you’re cooking for a family, this is the air fryer for you – the dual baskets means you can knock up a quick meal in no time, there’s a veritable feast of functions and its sleek design will add a touch of style to your worktops. You can save £70 off this model now on Amazon, so if you’re in the market for an air fryer snap it up. You won’t regret it!
Good evening bargain hunters! It’s Heather here, Ideal Home’s Editor in Chief, signing on for the next few hours to track down the best Black Friday deals for your home out there right now.
I’ve been working on homes magazines for over two decades, so I know exactly which brands to head to for stylish and affordable home buys. With an eye for a bargain, I can’t wait to share the not-to-be-missed deals on everything from air fryers (I have two – I may buy another!) to bedding.
As a busy mum of twins, I’m always a fan of anything that makes life run a little smoother at home. I’ve got a few things on my Black Friday wish-list this year, and I’m sure I won’t be able to resist some of the amazing deals the Ideal Home team and I will be sharing over the event.
Stayed tuned for some brilliant bargains this evening, so you can get your shopping done early before your must-haves sell out.

Ninja Foodi MAX Multi Cooker with SmartLid | was £309.99, now £199.99 at Amazon
If you want to really ensure value for money this Black Friday, a multi-cooker would be a great buy.
This cooker from Ninja can perform 15 different functions, including air frying, all for under £200. That means you get to save countertop space and money. Our feature on whether you should buy an air fryer vs a multi-cooker can help you if you’re still unsure of the pros and cons of either.
I’m signing off for the evening and handing the blog over to Ideal Home’s Editor-in-Chief Heather, who is going to be rounding up all the evening’s best deals.

Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket | was £30.00, now £20.90 at Amazon
This already affordable electric blanket is now an even better price in the sales. It may be no-frills, but it does the job and offers an economical way to stay warm this winter.
Though this Silentnight one attaches to your bed, you can also shop throw electric blankets. The one I have from Dreamcatcher is my work-from-home essential, and also on sale on Amazon for Black Friday, down from £66.99 to £44.99.

Sage Barista Express Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine | was £695.95, now £500.00 at John Lewis
This Sage machine is very similar to my own and now at such an excellent price with £129 off at John Lewis. If you want barista-quality coffee at home every day, then this is the Black Friday coffee machine deal for you.
Dyson Omni-Glide Vacuum | was £299.99, now £199.99 at Dyson
This is a fantastic Dyson vacuum, which I’ve tested, and now you can snap it up for under £200. You don’t get those sort of prices often on Dyson vacs, and this one is a fairly new release too.
It’s only engineered for hard floors however, so those with fully carpeted homes may want to steer clear.
Molly here, Ideal Home’s Ecommerce Editor signing on for the afternoon to find you some great Black Friday deals.
I was doing some shopping myself on my lunch break and trying to find the best price on my favourite candle from Boy Smells. From what I can see, the best price out there is at Flannels, with Boy Cedar Stack down from £44.00 to £32.00. I know what I’m putting on my Christmas list!
Grind One Pod Coffee Machine | was £295.00 now £236.00 at Grind
I have this coffee machine myself and I think it’s great. I don’t have tonnes of room on my worktops, so I want to make sure that everything on display has both style and substance.
This machine obviously looks very chic, but it also works really well to make great tasting coffee. It’s fairly back to basics in that the only controls you have adjust the length of the drink, but when you’re grabbing a cup to go in the morning, what more could you really need?
Now I just need the coffee pod box to show off those pretty pink capsules to complete the look.
On that note, it’s time for another cup of coffee for me, and to hand you back over to Molly to keep you updated on all the best deals of the day…

Homcom 12L Dehumidifier | was £154.99 now £126.99 at Robert Dyas
While we’ve not tested this dehumidifier ourselves, it receives glowing reviews from consumers saying how efficient and quiet it is. It has two speeds and three modes – auto, drying and sleep.

Cosy Borg Sherpa Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set | was from £30.00 now from £24.00 at La Redoute
A nice 20% off makes this sumptuous bedding set look even more tempting. With colder temperatures on the horizon, I’m already working out how to prevent myself from needing the heating on too much, and this super-soft Sherpa set looks just the ticket and feels like a more luxe version of the Dunelm Teddy range.
These days it can seem that everyone and their mother has a Black Friday sale on which, of course, if one of the reasons why we’re here to help you sort through the chaff.
However, not every brand partakes in the sales event, and one question we’re often asked is whether or not The White Company does Black Friday. The short answer? No, but in previous years they have had a ‘White Weekend’ which, if they stick to their routine, should start next Friday, 24th November.
Until then, they do have a sale section, which right now has some sheets, pillow cases and quilts on offer.

Tower T17039 Xpress Pro 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer | was £119.99 now £89.11 at Amazon
Tower is a great affordable brand to consider for air fryers and they have some amazing deals on at the moment.
This version, which boasts a 4.6 star average after a whopping nearly 18,000 ratings, has a handy clear panel so you can keep an eye on what you’re cooking, removable shelves so you can cook separate components in the same machine and even a rotisserie function.
There’s also a version for £69.99 if you prefer manual, rather than digital, settings
It’s no secret that the Ideal Home team is pretty into air fryers, but for speedy, healthy cooking they’re not the only option. One alternative is the multi-cooker, which can have an air fryer as one of its functions. But which one do you need?
We explain everything you need to know about the air fryers vs multi-cookers debate to help you weigh up which is best for you.
P.S. I’m team multi-cooker, and swear by the Ninja Foodi MAX which has an insane 15 functions from air frying and pressure cooking to sautéing and slow cooking.

Kenwood kMX750 kMix Stand Mixer | was £419.99 now £200.00 at John Lewis & Partners
I feel like a good stand mixer is on everyone’s dream kitchen wishlist and, frankly, there’s no better option than the classic kMix. It fact, we crowned it to be the best stand mixer in our reviews.
This is an amazing discount, and while it’s only for the Cream colourway, you could alternatively pick it up in Red or Black for £229.99. Personally, I’m a big fan of the neutral so it’ll suit however my kitchen is decorated.
Stop the presses – the cult Ninja Creami is officially back in stock! This ice cream and frozen dessert maker has been sold out for quite some time so we’ve been watching the Ninja site like a hawk for its reappearance.
While it’s not discounted, the mere fact that it’s available is reason enough to snap it up. I’ve been desperate for one ever since my colleague tested it last month and hasn’t stopped raving about it since.

Simba Hybrid Pillow | was £109 now £81.75 at Simba
We take sleep seriously here at Ideal Home, and our reviewers were in agreement that this Simba pillow, although pricy, is one of the best there is – especially for side sleepers (hi, it’s me!)
It’s got these foam ‘nanocubes’ that can be removed or re-added so you can adjust away to make sure it’s the perfect height every night.
This Black Friday, eBay is offering shoppers a further 40% off top refurbished Dyson products with the code DYSONBF40.
So if you’ve always wanted one of their products and aren’t wedded to it being brand new, this could be your time. My current favourite deal has to be the Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, down from £329.99 to £167.99 when you use the code above.

Philips Series 800 Air Purifier AC0820/30 | was £155.00 now £90.00 at Argos
With £65 currently off, this model is a nicely affordable buy. It’s small but mighty as it can deal with rooms up to 49m² but isn’t noisy, and in sleep mode it operates in near silence and dims the display lights.
While we’ve not tested this model ourselves, the reviews are glowing, with 96% of customers saying they would recommend it.
Blinds2Go Black Friday sale is live and kicking

Instant Vortex VersaZone Air Fryer | was £199.99, now £119.99 at Amazon
This air fryer is one of our recent top-rated favourites. It’s part of the next generation of air fryers with versatile designs that mean you can split the cooking compartment in half, or keep it as one large zone.
This one from Instant is a fraction of the price of its competing Ninja model, and now it’s even cheaper thanks to Black Friday sales.

Dry: Soon 3-Tier Heated Airer | was £159.99, now £127.99 at Lakeland
If you are in the market for a heated airer, this is a fab deal on one of our top-rated picks after testing.
It has three separate tiers which means you can space your clothes out in order for them to dry faster. These airers sold out last winter, so we’d act fast on this Black Friday deal if you’re looking for a solution to drying your clothes indoors.
If you’re anything like us, finding ways to dry clothes fast is top of your chore list this winter, and whether you choose to invest in one of the best heated clothes airers or one of the best dehumidifiers for drying washing indoors, there are Black Friday deals to help you save money.
Lakeland currently has up to 30% off Dry:Soon heated airers, and they’re rarely on sale so these deals are well worth snapping up whilst you can.
Sage The Bambino Black Truffle Coffee Machine | was £329.95, now £198.95 at Harts of Stur
This is a monumentally good price on this Sage espresso machine and also comes in a gorgeous matte black colour way.
In our Sage The Bambino review, our expert said that this machine is the perfect compact pick if you can’t quite stretch to a bean-to-cup machine. And now it’s under £200!

This mattress was tested by another member of the Ideal Home team who reported that it was the perfect tonic for their bouts of hot sleeping. If you’ve been waiting to upgrade your mattress, now is the time.
Our Emma Luxe Cooling Mattress review has the full details if you want to learn more.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday 2023 is on Friday, the 24th of November (aka next Friday).
In recent years, however, sales from retailers have been launching earlier and earlier in November, meaning that it’s more like a Black Friday month than just one day.

Ninja Speedi | was £254.99, now £139.99 at Amazon
This is the Ideal Home team’s first pick of the day, which has just gone live on Amazon. This multi-cooker from Ninja was only released this year, and this copper colour way is exclusive to Black Friday too.
Our Ecommerce Editor Molly has tested the Speedi, so can vouch for its powers when it comes to cooking meals in just 15 minutes. It can also perform two functions (like air frying and sautéing) at the same time, which is pretty impressive.
