On the occasion of Sushant Singh Rajput’s birth anniversary, his ‘Kai Po Che’ director Abhishek Kapoor and former co-star Rajkummar Rao honoured his memory in heartfelt posts on social media.
While Rajkummar took to his Instagram stories to post a picture of his dear friend with a heart emoticon, Abhishek spoke his heart and said, “Miss karta hoon yaar tujhe.”

Sushant made his Bollywood debut in the Abhishek Kapoor directorial that saw him share the screen with Rajkummar and Amit Sadh. The actors continued to remain friends post the success of the film. SSR even went on to collaborate with Kapoor for the film ‘Kedarnath’.
In an interview with Bombay Times, the director and his wife, Pragya, who shared a great bond with Sushant, decided to honour his memory by ticking one of the things off the late actor’s bucket list.
Pragya has planned a plantation drive today and will plant 1,000 trees, a wish that ranked number 11 on SSR’s bucket list of 50 things he wanted to do.
“A wish should not be left unfulfilled, Sushant had many dreams that he wanted to achieve. We can’t fulfil them all, but planting 1,000 trees is something that we could do, hence, we felt it was the right way to celebrate his birth anniversary,” she said.
