Tenure of Mohit Gupta as DIG, CBI has been extended

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has issued an order extending his deputation tenure for a further period of one year from September 4, 2023 to September 3, 2024.

Mohit Gupta is a 2006-batch IPS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He was promoted to DIG, CBI in August 2021. He has served in the CBI in various capacities, including as the investigating officer in several high-profile cases.
