UPSC Prelims 2023 Paper 2 Analysis: CSAT Paper-II exam analysis here


NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission conducted the UPSC CSE Prelims Paper 1 and Paper 2 today, May 28, 2023. The GS Paper-I was conducted from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Students found the GS exam to be moderate.
In the second session, UPSC Conducted the Paper-II (CSAT) exam from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The Civil Services Aptitude Test, also known as General Studies Paper-II, tests the analytical skills, reasoning ability, and aptitude of Civil Services aspirants.
The UPSC Prelims Paper-II had 80 objective-type questions. Candidates were allotted complete 2 hours to attempt these questions. CSAT is a qualifying examination, where candidates are required to score a minimum of 33% to qualify it.
As per the initial reactions of the candidates, the CSAT Paper-II was moderate to difficult. The reading comprehension part was lengthy.

One of the candidates say that the CSAT was overall moderate to difficult. Numerical questions were tough and there were more questions from permutations and combinations. The questions from analytical reasoning were also challenging.
