Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most versatile actors in the film industry. According to a report, Mukesh Bhatt revealed that Sushant had initially auditioned for the role and everything was going smooth, but he was later replaced by Aditya Roy Kapoor.
Arjun Kapoor replaced Sushant to play the lead protagonist in the Mohit Suri directorial, after the latter was reported to chose ‘Raabta’ over ‘Half Girlfriend.’
Abhishek Kapoor wanted to collaborate with Sushant for Fitoor, after working with him in ‘Kai Po Che’. Due to the actor’s hectic schedules and dates, Aditya stepped in his shoes.
It’s true that SSR was a part of the highly anticipated thriller. In fact, the official posters featuring him were initially released on social media. Reportedly, the actor hopped out of the project last minute, and John Abraham replaced him.
According to a report in a news portal, filmmaker Aditya Chopra was all set to cast Sushant for the project, after being impressed by his work in ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ but suddenly, the director changed his mind and Ranveer Singh came on board.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on July 14, 2020 under mysterious circumstances. His untimely demise had shocked the entire film fraternity and his fans across the globe.
