18 officers empanelled as Joint Secretaries in Government of India

The Government of India has empanelled 18 senior officers for appointment as Joint Secretaries, marking an important career milestone for each of them. The empanelment strengthens the pool of officers eligible for top administrative roles at the Centre across various ministries and departments.

Among those empanelled are Anurag Agarwal, Ashok Maurya, Amiya Kumar Das, Anil Ranga, Prabhjeet Singh Gulati, Pashupati Nath Pandey, Vinod Tanwani, N R Visaltchy, Vivek Kumar Daksh, Binay Kumar Jha, Rajnish Kumar, and Vinod Kumar. Several women officers have also been included, reflecting a balanced representation, such as Ms Deepa Chawla, Ms Sukhgeet Kaur, Ms Ruchita Vij, Ms Sonal Misra, Ms Shipra Sharma, and Ms M G Jayasree.

This empanelment opens up new opportunities for these officers to take up critical responsibilities in shaping governance at the Union Government level. It also underscores the Centre’s commitment to strengthening administrative leadership with a diverse mix of experienced officers.
