At end of IIT-Bombay placements, only 75% get jobs, lowest pay down to Rs 4L/yr

IIT Bombay’s 2024 placements concluded with an average package of Rs 23.5 lakh, marking a 7.7% increase from last year. Despite the rise, fewer students were placed this year. The engineering and technology sector recruited the most students. The lowest annual package was Rs 4 lakh. Core engineering, IT, and finance sectors saw significant hiring.
