IITian who gave up TCS job to join civil services, shares his TCS offer letter from June 1984

Rohit Kumar Singh, an IIT graduate, shared his journey on social media, reflecting on his decision to choose a career in the Indian Civil Services over a lucrative job at TCS. His starting salary as an IAS officer in 1984 was Rs 2,200 per month compared to TCS’s offer of Rs 1,300 per month.
