Delhi University (DU) is embarking on ambitious initiatives outlined in its Institutional Development Plan (IDP) 2024, including launching its own satellite, adopting electric vehicles on campus, and introducing a free lunch scheme for underprivileged students. The university aims to enhance scientific research and environmental sustainability while fostering local communities through food safety standards. Additional plans include establishing a “University Haat” for student-led start-ups and developing an alumni network to support entrepreneurial ventures.
