NBEMS has issued updated leave rules for PG medical trainees, effective from November 22, 2024. Trainees are entitled to 30 days of leave per year, with additional provisions for maternity and paternity leave. Any leave beyond the allotted 30 days will lead to an extension of the training period. The application process for leave must be followed strictly, and failure to comply may result in disciplinary actions, including cancellation of candidature and ineligibility for final exams.
