Tiger snakes, found in southern Australia, exhibit varied coloration and are venomous with potent neurotoxic and myotoxic effects. Preferring coastal wetlands and other habitats with water, they hunt a diverse diet of small animals. Although typically avoiding humans, they can be fatal when provoked. Conservation efforts are essential to maintain their ecological role.
