Rohit Sharma has been dropped for the fifth and final Test against Australia in Sydney. There were tell-tale signs of it coming as the skipper’s lean form with the bat continued into the fourth Test at MCG. On the eve of the decider, Rohit was a mere spectator, unlike his usual chatty self, and barely batted in the nets.
