Three IPS officers from the 2007 batch in Chhattisgarh—Ramgopal Garg, Deepak Kumar Jha, and Abhishek Shandilya—have been promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP). Additionally, Jitendra Singh Meena, also from the 2007 batch and currently on central deputation, has been granted a pro forma promotion to IGP rank.
