Gyanesh Kumar takes oath as new chief election commissioner

Gyanesh Kumar, a 1988 batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre, has been appointed as the new Chief Election Commissioner. He succeeds Rajiv Kumar, bringing decades of administrative expertise to the prestigious role.
