In a strategic lateral shift within the central administration, IAS officer Shashank Mani Tripathi has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. A member of the 2015 batch from the AGMUT cadre, Tripathi will serve in this pivotal role until August 30, 2028, completing the remainder of his four-year central deputation tenure.
Known for his administrative insight and dynamic approach, Tripathi’s new assignment places him at the core of India’s internal affairs, where his expertise is expected to contribute significantly to national governance and security operations.
