In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Delhi government has reassigned 23 IAS officers to new roles. Ms. Dilraj Kaur has been appointed as Principal Secretary, GAD, and will also handle additional responsibilities as Principal Secretary for Social Welfare and SC/ST/OBC Welfare. Ms. Nandini Paliwal takes charge as Commissioner, Trade & Taxes, while Neeraj Semwal becomes Secretary, Revenue-cum-Divisional Commissioner, with the added charge of Secretary, Land & Building.
Pandurang K Pole is now Secretary, Higher Education and TTE, and Ms. Niharika Rai has been appointed Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Transport, with added responsibilities as Secretary, Tourism, MD/CEO of DTTDC, and Chairperson of DTC. Key other appointments include Ms. Rashmi Singh as Secretary, WCD and Chairperson, DCW; Krishan Kumar as CEO, Disaster Management; Ravi Dhawan as Member (Admn), DJB; Prince Dhawan as MD, DTC; and several other strategic roles across departments, highlighting a major realignment of Delhi’s bureaucratic structure.
