Uday Ruddarraju, xAI’s head of infrastructure engineering, has resigned after a year, having been instrumental in building the Colossus supercomputer and training Grok 3. He expressed gratitude to Elon Musk and the xAI team for the experience. Shortly after his departure, Ruddarraju announced he is joining OpenAI, with OpenAI President Greg Brockman welcoming him and other engineers.
