In a key reshuffle by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Rajiv Jain, an officer of the Indian Information Service (IIS), has been appointed as the new Chief of AIR News. He has been transferred from the Directorate of Publicity and Distribution (DPD) and posted as Additional Director General (ADG), AIR News, with additional charge of Director General (DG), News. The official order was released late evening by the MIB.
