ITDC Celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with a Strong Message of Integrity

The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, successfully observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2, 2025, embracing the theme “सतर्कता: हमारी साझा जिम्मेदारी / Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

Led by Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Managing Director of ITDC, and Sunil Kumar Sharma, CVO, the initiative emphasized collective responsibility in promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical governance. In alignment with the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) directives, ITDC implemented various preventive vigilance measures, focusing on faster complaint resolution, digital monitoring, and improved asset management systems.

The observance began with employees across ITDC’s hotels, corporate offices, regional divisions, and training institutes taking the Integrity Pledge. Engaging activities like poster-making, slogan writing, debate, and quiz competitions were conducted by students of Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management (AIHTM) to promote the spirit of vigilance among youth.

Adding a creative touch, a Nukkad Natak and a Walkathon were organized to spread the message of ethical conduct and accountability among citizens. The week-long event reflected ITDC’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of honesty and responsibility across the tourism and hospitality sector.
