Three senior IRS-IT officers receive new appointments

In a recent administrative update within the Income Tax Department, three senior IRS (Income Tax) officers have been assigned new responsibilities. Sanjay Kumar has been appointed as the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, while Mohit Jain takes charge as the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in the cadre. Additionally, K. Devarathna Kumar has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) for the Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh Region.
These postings reflect the department’s ongoing focus on strengthening leadership and administrative efficiency across key regions.
