In an important development in judicial appointments, the Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names of two Judicial Officers for elevation as Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The officers recommended are Ramesh Chander Dimri and Ms. Neerja Kulwant Kalson. Their proposed appointments are aimed at strengthening the judicial capacity and efficiency of the High Court.
