Manoj Kumar Gangeya has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Coal on a deputation basis for a tenure of five years. He is currently serving as Executive Director (Planning) in the Railway Board. Gangeya is an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), and his appointment is expected to strengthen policy planning and administrative coordination within the Ministry of Coal.
