Six IPS officers of the 2012 batch in Himachal Pradesh have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG). The promoted officers are Shalini Agnihotri, Rohit Malpani, Dr Khushal Chand Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi, Dr Ramesh Chander Chhajta and Dr Devakar Sharma.
