In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle directed by the Election Commission of India, five IAS officers have been given new postings in Assam. Kimnei Changsan has been appointed as District Commissioner of Baksa, while Madhu Sudan Nath takes charge in Chirang. Dr P. Uday Praveen will serve as District Commissioner of Kokrajhar. Jay Vikas has been posted to Udalguri, and Srishti Singh assumes responsibility as District Commissioner of Majuli.
