In a fresh administrative reshuffle in Tamil Nadu, five senior IAS officers have been entrusted with significant responsibilities across important departments and state-run corporations. Dr Darez Ahamed has been appointed as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, while Mrs Anu George will now serve as Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare. Mrs Mariam Pallavi Baldev has been posted as Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment. In the public sector sector, T Udhayachandran has taken charge as Additional Chief Secretary and CMD of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd., whereas Kumar Jayant has been appointed ACS and CMD of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd. The latest IAS reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and administrative efficiency in the state.
