IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, whose life story inspired the acclaimed film “12th Fail”, has been appointed as Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Mumbai. Sharma is a 2005 batch IPS officer known for his distinguished policing career and inspiring journey.
Before this appointment, Sharma served as DCP Zone-1 and Additional Commissioner of Police (West Region) in Mumbai. He has also worked with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). His appointment to the crucial law and order post in Mumbai is being viewed as an important move in the city’s policing administration.
