The Tamil Nadu government has reassigned two senior IPS officers in a fresh administrative reshuffle. Dr. Sandeep Rai Rathore has been appointed as Director General of Police (DGP)/Director General, Prisons and Correctional Services. Meanwhile, K. Shankar has been entrusted with the post of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Enforcement Bureau, Chennai. The changes are aimed at strengthening law enforcement and prison administration in the state.
