The Tripura Government has announced a fresh round of IPS transfers, reassigning three senior police officers to strategic positions in district policing and specialised security formations.
According to the latest orders, Sudhambika R, who was serving as Superintendent of Police, Unakoti, has been posted as Superintendent of Police (Cyber Crime).
Rishabh, earlier serving as Additional Superintendent of Police, Gomati, has been appointed as the new SP, Unakoti, succeeding Sudhambika R.
Meanwhile, Nabadwip Jamatia, who was heading the Cyber Crime unit, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 15th Battalion, Tripura State Rifles (TSR).
The latest reshuffle is part of the state government’s periodic administrative exercise to strengthen police leadership, optimise manpower deployment and improve operational effectiveness across key law enforcement units.
These transfers are expected to support efficient policing and reinforce the state’s efforts towards effective public safety and security administration.
