New Delhi, August 15, 2026: NBCC (India) Limited celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour at NBCC Bhawan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, reaffirming its commitment to nation-building and the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
The Independence Day celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and National Song, in the presence of Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director, NBCC, Functional Directors, Chief Vigilance Officer, senior officers, and employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, reiterated NBCC’s commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, highlighting landmark initiatives such as the Amrapali projects, East Kidwai Nagar redevelopment, New Moti Bagh and World Trade Center, New Delhi. He appreciated the dedication of NBCC employees and encouraged them to embrace greater innovation, technology and new-age solutions to further strengthen the organisation’s contribution to nation-building.
The festivities followed a special cultural programme organised by the UMANG Cultural Committee, on the eve of Independence Day, during which the Official NBCC Anthem was introduced. The employee-driven initiative reflects the spirit of unity, pride, patriotism and collective identity of NBCCians. The anthem lyrics were developed through entries invited from employees, following which the selected composition was recorded and formally introduced.
The programme also featured the announcement and felicitation of winners of the Elocution, No Brush Painting and Reel Video competitions. The writers and singers of the Official NBCC Anthem were also felicitated for their contribution.
The introduction of the Official NBCC Anthem and Independence Day celebrations marked a proud moment, reflecting unity, shared values and NBCC’s enduring commitment to nation-building.
