The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a six-month extension for Shri Ajit Kumar, IAS (KL:2006) to continue as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MyGov.
Kumar, who is currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), will continue to hold the additional charge of MyGov CEO from May 24, 2026.
The extension will remain effective for six months, or until a regular CEO is appointed, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
