Chandigarh: The Haryana government has issued orders for the transfer and reassignment of three IAS officers, resulting in changes to several key administrative responsibilities.
The officers affected by the latest orders include Nikhil Gajraj, IAS (HY:2008), Mukul Kumar, IAS (HY:2011), and Ajay Kumar, IAS (HY:2013).
Nikhil Gajraj, IAS (HY:2008), has been posted as Director General, State Transport, Haryana, following his return to the state cadre after completing his deputation with the Government of India.
Mukul Kumar, IAS (HY:2011), who was holding multiple assignments, including Chief Administrator, Haryana Shaheri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Panchkula; Managing Director, Gurugram Metro Rail Ltd.; Managing Director, Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation; and Director, Hospitality, has been relieved of the charge of Chief Administrator, HSVP.
Mukul Kumar has now been given the additional charge of Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya Sewa.
Meanwhile, Ajay Kumar, IAS (HY:2013), who is serving as Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya Sewa, has been assigned the charge of Chief Administrator, HSVP and Managing Director, Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation.
Following the latest arrangement, Ajay Kumar has been relieved of his charge as Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya Sewa.
The latest reshuffle involves changes in key responsibilities related to state transport, urban development and social welfare administration in Haryana.
