Punjab Government Transfers IAS and PCS Officers, Shreyansee Jain Posted in Ludhiana

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has issued transfer and posting orders for IAS and PCS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds. The orders were issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Punjab, on October 9, 2026.

Under the latest reshuffle, Shreyansee Jain, IAS (2023 batch), has been appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ludhiana, replacing Shikha Bhagat, PCS, who has been transferred to Kapurthala.

Key Transfer and Posting Details:

  • Shreyansee Jain, IAS (2023): Appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ludhiana. She was previously available for posting.
  • Shikha Bhagat, PCS (2012): Transferred from Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ludhiana, and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Kapurthala, against a vacant post.
  • Amanpal Singh, PCS (2022): Transferred from the post of Deputy Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, and placed at the disposal of the government as available for posting.

The transfer orders direct the officers concerned to join their new places of posting immediately.

The orders were signed by K.A.P. Sinha, Chief Secretary, Government of Punjab, in Chandigarh on October 9, 2026.
