Mayusha A. M., Indian Information Service (IInfoS) officer of the 2011 batch, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Her appointment follows a recommendation for central deputation by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The tenure will be five years from the date she assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The officer has been directed to be relieved of her current duties immediately to take up her new assignment in the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

As per the appointment order, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) guidelines, conveyed through the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) circular dated August 17, 2005, require the officer to join the new post within three weeks of the appointment order. Failure to comply may lead to the initiation of debarment proceedings under the Central Staffing Scheme.
