In a recent administrative move, the Haryana government has entrusted two IAS officers with additional responsibilities to strengthen governance and streamline departmental functioning. Ajay Kumar, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram and Chief Administrator of Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Shrine Board, has been assigned the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner, Nuh, along with the role of CEO, Mewat Development Agency.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Ashima Brar, who holds key portfolios as Commissioner & Secretary in the Excise & Taxation, Finance, and Energy Departments, has been given the additional responsibility of Chairperson for major Haryana power utilities. These include HVPNL, DHBVN, UHBVN, and HPGCL, reflecting the government’s focus on strengthening leadership in the power sector.
