In a fresh administrative reshuffle, several IAS officers in Odisha have been assigned new roles across key departments and districts to strengthen governance and public administration in the state.
Manish Agarwal has been appointed as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Odisha. Smruti Ranjan Pradhan has taken charge as Managing Director of the Odisha Small Industries Corporation and will continue to hold the additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer, Startup Odisha.
Siddhartha Das has been posted as Director, Fisheries, while Ms Madhusmita Sahoo has been appointed Director of Teachers’ Education and the State Council of Educational Research and Training (TE and SCERT). She will also continue to serve as Additional Secretary in the School and Mass Education Department.
Mrs Upama Kalo, currently serving as Additional Commissioner, Settlement and Consolidation in the Office of the Revenue Divisional Commissioner at Sambalpur, will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary, RDC (Northern Division). Mrs Lily Kumari Kullu has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Public Enterprises Department.
Somesh Kumar Upadhyay has been posted as Director, Textiles and Handlooms. Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke has been appointed Collector and District Magistrate of Malkangiri.
Akavaram Sasya Reddy has been assigned the role of Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation and will also hold additional charge as Vice Chairman of the Berhampur Development Authority. Akshay Pillay has been posted as Additional District Magistrate, Paradeep, in Jagatsinghpur district.
Among district-level postings, Ms Arugula Sneha has been appointed Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer (CDO-cum-EO) of Zilla Parishad, Mayurbhanj. Samir Kumar Jena will serve as CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Ganjam, while Soumyaranjan Pradhan has been posted as CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Kalahandi.
