The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has announced significant leadership appointments aimed at furthering its mission to strengthen vocational education and skill development in India.

  • Debashree Mukherjee Takes Charge as NCVET Chairperson

Ms. Debashree Mukherjee, a seasoned bureaucrat known for her extensive experience in governance and education reforms, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Chairperson of NCVET. With her expertise, she will guide the council’s initiatives to expand and modernize vocational training frameworks, ensuring greater opportunities for skill development across the country.

  • Prof. Ashok Kumar Gaba Appointed as Executive Director

Adding academic strength to the council, Prof. Ashok Kumar Gaba has been appointed as Executive Director of NCVET. His vast teaching and leadership experience is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the council’s vision of modernizing vocational education and creating effective pathways to employability.

  • Prof. Rajive Kumar Joins as Executive Director
