In a significant reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued new postings for 16 IPS officers, with ten of them appointed as Superintendents of Police (SP). The transfers aim to strengthen law and order across key districts.
As per the latest orders, Hemraj Meena and Santosh Kumar Mishra have been shifted to the DGP Office as SPs. Jay Prakash Singh has taken charge as SP Unnao, while Sanjeev Suman has been appointed SP Deoria. Similarly, Vikrant Veer moves to the DGP Office, and Neeraj Kumar Jadaun assumes responsibility as SSP Aligarh.
Other major postings include Ashok Kumar Meena as SP Hardoi, Abhishek Verma as SP Sonbhadra, Deepak Bhuker as SP Pratapgarh, and Dr. Anil Kumar-II as SSP Azamgarh. Keshav Kumar has been appointed SP Kushinagar, Abhijeet R. Shankar as SP Ambedkarnagar, and Abhishek Bharti as SP Auraiya.
Further, Manish Kumar Shandilya has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj Commissionerate; Anil Kumar Jha takes charge as SP Railways, Agra; and Sarvesh Kumar Mishra has been posted as Commandant, 4th Battalion PAC, Prayagraj.
This large-scale reshuffle highlights the government’s focus on ensuring effective policing and better administrative control across Uttar Pradesh.
