In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred and posted 30 IPS officers across the state. The large-scale changes aim to strengthen policing and streamline law enforcement.
Key changes include Anurag Gupta, Director General of Police (HoPF), being relieved of the additional charge of DG, ACB and DG, CID. Prashant Singh, DG, Wireless and Technical Services, has been given additional responsibility as DG Headquarters, while Priya Dubey has been appointed ADG of ACB with additional charge of ADG, EOW. Rakesh Ranjan has taken charge as SSP Ranchi, Paras Rana as City SP Ranchi with additional charge of JAP 10, and Rakesh Singh as Traffic SP Ranchi with added responsibility of SP, Wireless and Technical Services.
Other major postings include Suman Gupta as ADG Railways, Manoj Kaushik as IG Ranchi Zone with additional charge of IG, CID, Kranti Kumar Gadideshi as IG Human Rights, and Narendra Kumar Singh as IG Vigilance-cum-Security in Jharkhand Electricity Board. Several officers including Sudarshan Mandal, Sunil Bhaskar, Patel Mayur Kanhaiyalal, Sanjeev Kumar, Shailendra Prasad Varnwal, Manoj Ratan, Ajit Peter Dungdung, Chandan Kumar Sinha, Arvind Kumar Singh, Ehtesham Waqarib, Amit Renu, Saurabh, Ajit Kumar, Deepak Kumar Pandey, Animesh Naithani, Kailash Karmali, Manoj Swargiyari and Moomal Rajpurohit have also been assigned new roles across districts, railways, CID, and special branches.
This reshuffle underscores the state government’s strategy to ensure efficiency, strengthen law enforcement, and improve administrative supervision across Jharkhand.
