The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed Satish Golcha as the new Commissioner of Delhi Police. A 1992 batch IPS officer from the AGMUT cadre, Golcha was serving as the Director General (Prisons), Delhi, before this new assignment.
With over three decades of policing experience, Golcha’s appointment comes at a crucial time for the national capital, where maintaining law and order, managing security challenges, and ensuring citizen safety remain top priorities.
