The Maharashtra Government has carried out a significant reshuffle involving seven IAS officers across key administrative positions. Shekhar Singh has been appointed as the Commissioner for the upcoming 2027 Nashik Kumbh Mela, while M Devendra Singh will serve as Member Secretary, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Mumbai.
Jalaj Sharma takes over as Metropolitan Commissioner, Nashik Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA). Additionally, Ayush Prasad has been posted as District Collector, Nashik; Rohan Ghunghae as District Collector, Jalgaon; Sanjay Kolte will assume the role of Sugar Commissioner of Maharashtra; and Manoj Jindal has been appointed as District Collector, Ratnagiri.
