The Government of Uttarakhand has implemented a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 22 IAS officers to new roles across the state’s administrative framework.
As part of the changes, Dilip Jawalkar has been relieved from the charge of Secretary, Rural Development and Rural Works Department, while BCRC Purushottam has been relieved of the additional charge of Director, Fisheries. Chandresh Kumar Yadav is relieved from his duties as Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department and Food Commissioner.
Ranveer Singh Chauhan has been given additional charge of Food Commissioner and relieved as Director General, Agriculture and Horticulture. Mrs. Sonika now holds additional charge as Vice Chairman, Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority, while Lalit Mohan Royal becomes District Magistrate, Nainital, with additional charge of Vice Chairman, District Level Development Authority, Nainital.
Other key appointments include:
-Vijay Kumar Jogdande relieved of additional charge as Additional Secretary, Revenue.
-Ms. Vandana takes over as Director General, Agriculture & Horticulture and Additional Secretary, Planning.
-Vineet Kumar assigned Additional Secretary, Labour, and relieved from Forest charge.
-Himanshu Khurana gets additional charge of Additional Secretary, Forest.
-Alok Kumar Pandey appointed as CEO, PMGSY.
-Suraj takes charge as Additional Secretary, Information Technology and Science & Technology, and also as Director, ITDA and MD, Hiltron.
-Gaurav Kumar becomes District Magistrate, Chamoli, while Sandeep Tiwari is posted as Director, Social Welfare, Haldwani.
-Ms. Ravneet Cheema is appointed Additional Secretary, Reorganisation Department.
-Vinod Goswami takes charge as Additional Secretary, Urban Development, and Directorate of Urban Development.
-Ashish Kumar Bhatgai becomes District Magistrate, Pithoragarh, and Ms. Deepti Singh receives additional charge of Director, Horticulture.
-Mrs. Akanksha Konde is appointed District Magistrate, Bageshwar, and Anshul Singh takes over as District Magistrate, Almora.
This large-scale reshuffle aims to enhance governance, efficiency, and administrative coordination across Uttarakhand’s districts and departments.
