In Uttarakhand, four senior IPS officers have been transferred and assigned new roles in a recent administrative reshuffle. Yogendra Singh Rawat has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) for Kumbh Mela, while Aayush Agrawal will serve as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for the same event.
Meanwhile, Shweta Choubey has been posted as SSP of Tehri, and Vishakha Ashok Bhadane has taken charge as Commandant of the IRB Second Battalion. These strategic appointments are aimed at strengthening law enforcement and ensuring efficient management of key responsibilities, including large-scale events like the Kumbh Mela.
