While excessive sugar is detrimental, it’s not the sole dietary concern regarding cancer risk. Cancer is complex, and so is the relationship between food and health. While sugar does play a role, it’s far from the only concern. Instead of eliminating single items, it’s wiser to improve overall eating patterns—because what’s eaten regularly could either be feeding health or feeding cancer.
