The Bihar government has initiated a reshuffle affecting ten IAS officers, reshaping responsibilities across departments. HR Srinivas takes charge as Principal Secretary, Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department. Chaitanya Prasad, already serving as Chief Investigation Commissioner (GAD), now additionally assumes the role of Chairman-cum-Member, Revenue Board.
In other key moves, Dr B Rajender is now also the DG and Special Secretary at BIPARD, while Rachna Patil takes on the additional role of Additional Director General at BIPARD. Pankaj Kumar, currently PS, PHED, will shoulder additional responsibilities as Principal Secretary, Food & Consumer Protection Department and MD, State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation.
Divesh Sehra moves to the Mines and Geology Department as Secretary and Commissioner, relinquishing his Panchayati Raj responsibilities. Meanwhile, Sandeep Kumar Pudalakatti has been posted as Secretary, Transport, Manoj Kumar takes over as Secretary, Panchayati Raj, and Narmadeshwar Lal steps in as Principal Secretary, Minor Water Resources.
