Ms. Sandhya Shukla, a 1991 batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA\&AS), has been appointed as Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). She assumes this key constitutional role with the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India, and will oversee reports concerning the Northern Region.
