REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power, has successfully raised Rs. 5,635 crore through private bond placement. This includes Rs. 3,000 crore via 2-year 8-month bonds at 6.52% interest and Rs. 2,635 crore through nearly 11-year bonds at 6.81% interest. The issuance saw strong investor interest and earned a “AAA” credit rating from CARE Ratings, ICRA, and India Ratings & Research Pvt. Ltd. The bonds will be listed on both BSE and NSE.
