In a major stride toward clean energy integration, THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Power Purchase Agreement with the Government of Gujarat and GUVNL for supplying 184.08 MW from its Tehri Pumped Storage Plant.
The landmark deal, formalized on June 25, 2025, aims to support Gujarat’s power demand during peak hours and advance India’s renewable energy goals. Senior government officials and THDCIL executives marked their presence at the signing ceremony, highlighting this as a milestone in India’s energy transition journey.
