In a major milestone, REC Limited has become the first Indian public sector NBFC to achieve the ISO 31000:2018 certification for enterprise-wide risk management. Awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI), this certification underscores REC’s structured and globally aligned risk management framework.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Subrata Aich, Chief Risk Officer of REC, said, “This achievement reflects REC’s commitment to best-in-class risk mitigation practices and stakeholder confidence.” The certificate was formally presented during REC’s 56th Foundation Day celebration by Minister Shripad Yesso Naik and BSI India Head Prateek Rai.
