The government has announced new appointments for the crucial post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) across key PSUs. Ms Sarika Aggarwal Synrem is now the CVO of RCIL (RailTel Corporation of India Limited), while Ashish Nath takes charge as CVO, NHAI (National Highways Authority of India). Additionally, Sasanka Sarmah has been appointed as the CVO, NEEPCO (North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited). These appointments are set to strengthen vigilance and governance in vital infrastructure and power sectors.
